So a few days ago, my friend HelenOfTroy's cousin was born. She told me that she was born with a Harry Potter Scar. Needless to say, I freaked out. When I looked at the picture, I was disappointed:

So I decided to play god and make a more worthy Potter baby:

Don't you love her?? I'm going to name her Harriet. This is exactly what my baby will look like when I have one.

NOTE: after this was finished, my friend BrownCasom pointed out that I should have drawn on little round glasses, so since I was too lazy to draw them, when you look at this picture her wearing them.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Super Bowl commercial

The main reason I watch the Super Bowl is for the adds. While everyone else is watching the game and tuning out the commercial breaks, I'm literally doing the opposite. And it paid off this year when I watched the awesome add for the Harry Potter theme park they made in Florida! I AM SO EXITED!I need to get my ass to florida, pronto. (like that's gonna happen) Even though the commercial was almost unbearably cheesy, I still loved it because (1) Duh, its Harry Potter, and (2) It has Daniel Radcliffe in it. Normally, I'm more in love with Rupert Grint, but when I saw D.R. in the add I felt a burst of happy inside.

Painting update!

I'm halfway done with my Quidditch Painting yay!! check it out:

the colors are better in real life, this picture has yuck quality because it was taken with an iphone (not mine, i wish!) It'll be finished by next week, or the week after at the latest.

in case you didn't know, in edition to being a hp fan, I am also an artist. So I am going to combine these two passions and create a painting of harry playing Quidditch. Here is a picture of the sketch i made.

i am planning to reread ( ive read them at least a bajillion and four times already) at least chapter a day of hp until i finish the series. if i dont cheat and skip a day, I should finish the first book in about a week......
